Mary Holloway Smith Funeral services for Mary Holloway Smith, 61 ,of Vidalia, were held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, on Saturday, September 27, 2008, 3 p.m. with Bro. Arlie Riley officiating.
Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Smith was born May 2, 1947, in Winnsboro and passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Smith; father, Woodrow Holloway; mother, Hazel Wallace Holloway; and a brother, James "Woody" Holloway.
Survivors include sisters, Beanie Blaney and husband, Ronnie, of Cash Bayou, and Judy Holloway Reed of Vidalia; nephews, Beau Sanders of Ridgecrest, Greg Whatley of Baton Rouge, Jamie Holloway of Youngsville, and Boo Blaney of Vidalia; nieces Brandi Tyson Blaney of Vidalia, Shane King of Vidalia, Tracy Reed of Natchez, C.J. Whitaker of Woodville, MS, Naomi Holloway of Marksville, Holly Nunnery of Vidalia, and Rhonda Blaney of Marksville; special cousins, Eva Morgan, Janice Raborn, Susan Sproles, Lorraine Gore, Margie Paul, George Hogan and Betty Masters; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and family.
Pallbearers were family and friends. |
