Trinity Episcopal scored 28 points in the second quarter to break open a tie game in defeating Briarfield 61-28 Friday in Lake Providence.

Givonni Dent completed touchdown passes to Brandon Daggs and Wells Middleton in the first half and R.J. Fleming had a 1-yard run.

Fleming took over in the second half, scoring on runs of 42, 83 and 16 yards.

Kent King had two TD runs in the second half and Middleton added a touchdown run.

Trinity hosts Tallulah Friday.
