Lady Hounds named all-district Huntington's Lady Hound softball team landed two players on the MPSA District 6A East squad.
Senior third baseman Julia Corbett and senior outfielder Julie Moak were both named to the team.
Franklin Academy senior pitcher Emily Little was named MVP of the district, while Michael Kramer was named Coach of the Year.
The Lady Cougars lost to Bayou in the Class A championship game for the second straight season.
Also named to the team from Franklin were pitcher Katie Little, catcher Mallory Welch, third baseman Adrianne Hebert, shortstop Ariel Gill and outfielders Kassaey Guimbellot and Savannah Shipman. |
