Celebrity Golf Outing Nov. 9-20 The annual Celebrity Players Golf Outing will be held Nov. 9-10 in Natchez.
The event's proceeds benefit the Playground Project at the Natchez Children's Home.
Among the celebrities this year include former Southern Miss and NFL Hall of Fame punter Ray Guy, former Major League pitcher Rick Rhoden, former Major League pitcher Ralph Terry, former NFL quarterback Tommy Maddox, former LSU and NFL tight end Brian Kinchen, former Mississippi State quarterback Ken Wilderg, former tennis great Cliff Richey, comedian and golfer Scott Henry, former MLB pitcher Shane Rawley, musician Rick Seratte, golf trick shot artist Buddy Shelton, MLB umpire Joe WEst, former MLB umpire Greg Bonin, National Long Drive champion Sean Fister, former NFL wide receiver Mike Sienna and former NBA star and ESPN commentator Jon Barry.
At 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, a pairings party will be held at Beau Pre Country Club for Celeb-Am participants.
Extra dinners will be available for guests at $25 per plate.
At 7 p.m., in the Grand Soleil ball room, a "Country Music Jam Sessionî" including music by celebrity entertainers, an auction, refreshments and a cash bar will be held,
On Monday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., a pairings will be announced and a trick shot demonstration will be held.
At 11:45, the Celeb-Am Tee Off with shotgun start will be held along with a hole-in-one competition.
The awards program will be held at Beau Pre at 5 p.m., along wtih prize board drawings. |
