Mae Reeves
Funeral services for Mae "Mae Mae" Reeves, 93 ,of Clayton, were held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bob Schelmer officiating.
Interment followed at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Reeves was born April 29, 1915, in Evangeline Parish and passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at Riverland Medical Center Ferriday. She was a resident of Clayton and retired from Nichols Dept. Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff R. Reeves; father, Daniel N. Kelley; mother, Eunice Robert Kelley; son, Edward Reeves; and an infant son, Baby Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Benoit of Port Barre, and Evelyn Bowers of Clayton; special daughter-in-law, Ollie M. Faulkner; sister, Ruth Ethridge; her precious dog Jenny; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family and friends. |
