Funeral services for Rev. Isaiah Fleming, 93, of Ferriday will be held Friday, November 7, 2008, 11 a.m. at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at National Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rev. Fleming was born April 4, 1915, in Ferriday to Johnny and Gertrude Bailey Fleming. He passed away November 3, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a Baptist minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Isaiah Fleming Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Lana Young Fleming; daughters, Marion Melancon and Vivian Dishmon of Ferriday, Deloris Lee of Rialto, CA; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
