Barney McKeel Sr.
Funeral services for Barney McKeel Sr., 60, of Ferriday will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Justin Conner officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held today, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. McKeel was born March 24, 1948, in Frogmore to Gabe and Rosie Lemons McKeel. He passed away November 1, 2008, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Barney McKeel Jr. (Glenda), and Aaron McKeel (Carla); three daughters, Sharon Henderson (Glenn), Jawanda M. Green (Jessie) and Sheena King (Kenya); three brothers, William McKeel (Eliza), Archie Curry, all of Ferriday, Joe N. Washington of Little Rock, AR; five sisters, Bobbie McKeel and Ethel Curry of Ferriday, Rosie McKeel and Bertha McKeel of Milwaukee, WI, and Linda Meads of Killeen, TX; one aunt, Alma Jean McKeel of Ferriday; and 13 grandchildren. |
