Dan Fair Jr.
Funeral services for Dan Fair Jr., 74, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008, 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Levee Heights, Ferriday.
Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Fair was born August 3, 1934, in Vidalia to Dan and Josie Percy Fair.
He was a heavy equipment operator for the Corp of Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Henderson Fair of Ferriday; two sons, James Smith of Natchez and James Warren of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Ernestine Litt Evans (Alonzo) of Natchez; two brothers, Robert L. Fair Sr. of St. Joseph and Jimmie L. Fair of Ferriday; five sisters, Marie Jenkins, Willie Mae Gardner and Martha Burden, all of Vidalia, Pearly B. Fair (Benard) of St. Joseph, and Joyce Kelly; sister-in-law, Carolina Henderson; special friend, Delores Henderson, all of Ferriday; and eight grandchildren. |
