Ilene B. Swayze
Funeral services for Mrs. Ilene B. Swayze, 85 ,of Jonesville were held at Trinity Presbyterian Church Jonesville on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Interment followed at Jena Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Swayze was born July 18, 1923 in Nampa, ID and passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 at Columns Nursing Home Jonesville.
She was a resident of Jonesville, owner of Swayze Gro. Store in Jonesville and a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Swayze, Sr.; father, Oscar Brunzell; mother, Laura Winchester Brunzell; daughter, Bobbie Sue Corley; infant daughter, Sherry Lee Swayze; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Susie Swayze of Jonesville, Ronnie and his wife Pam Swayze of Harrisonburg; son-in-law, Lewis Corley of Jena; two grandsons, Robert Lee Swayze III and A.J. Swayze; five granddaughters, Sherry Smith, Jo Ellen Toler, Becky Swayze, Katie Swayze and Molly Swayze; great-grandson, Jeddy Hamilton; and great-granddaughter, Ashley Hamilton.
Pallbearers were Curt Freeman, Raymond Nicholson, David McMillin, Mike Taylor, Mark Taylor, Glen Tiser, Stephen Nolker and Jason Tiser.
Honorary pallbearers were Bud Swayze, Maxie Swayze, Frank Swayze, Willie Lazarus, Larry Foster, Buddy Swayze, Curtis Freeman, Lewis Corley, David Ryan and Ed Taylor. |
