Funeral services for Minnie Mae McClure Tullos, 70, of Jonesville were held Monday, November 10, 2008, 2 p.m. at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.

Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Mrs. McClure was born November 28, 1937, in Ferriday to Marion Leslie McClure and Cora Lea McClure. She passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008, in Jackson, MS.

Mrs. McClure had been a lifelong resident of Catahoula and Concordia Parishes and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a retired bookkeeper for Babin Motors in Jonesville and Huntington School in Ferriday.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bonnie Nell McNeely and Dorothy Barton.

Survivors include a son, Tony Tullos and his wife, Cathy, of Wildsville; three brothers, M. L. McClure Jr., Arthur Lee McClure and Larry D. McClure, all of Wildsville; and a step grandchild, Victoria Prewitt.

Pallbearers were Brent McClure, William Thompson, Barry Thompson, Hank Spann, Johnny Spann and Jason Wilson.
