Jason and April Hardie of Baskin proudly announce the birth of a daughter, Abbigail Grace Hardie, born August 15, 2008, 12:57 p.m. at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

The infant weighed five pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Pat and Skip Leachman of Ruston and Randy and Debbie Pye of Choudrant.

Paternal grandparents are Howard and Ilene Hardie of Jonesville. Great-grandmother is Margie Hardie of Jonesville.

She was welcomed home by family and friends.
