Johnson named district MVP
Vidalia senior running back Kevin Johnson was named co-MVP of District 3-3A.
Vidalia finished as runners-up in the district behind Buckeye. Johnson and Buckeye running back Chris Barbat were named as co-MVPs.
Named to the district first team from Vidalia were Johnson, junior tackle Ben Parnham and senior defensive back Kwan Reynolds.
Named to the second team were senior center Jake Martin, sophomore guard D.J. Polk, senior defensive tackle Rolandin Webster, junior nose guard Van Thompson, senior wide receiver Marvin Payne, junior linebacker Joe Williams, sophomore linebacker Dee Fleming, senior defensive back Lemack Bates, junior running back Quan Riley, sophomore wingback Tri McCoy and sophomore quarterback Caleb Vines.
Honorable mentions are senior tackle Jake DeWeese, junior guard Chase Smith, sophomore Reggie Reynolds, freshman defensive tackle Teddy Taylor and junior linebacker Robert Jenkins. |
