Funeral services for Mr. Lane Ray Lee, 81, of Vidalia, were held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Bro Richard Cullum officiating.

Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mr. Lee was born November 4, 1927 in Caston, LA, to Alice and Rayne Lee. He passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Natchez Community Hospital Natchez.

He was a resident of Vidalia. He was retired from International Paper Co. after 35 years of employment as a service operator. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during WWII.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Wolfe; and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Summer Wolfe; his parents; and two brothers, Bobby and Johnny Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ollie K. Lee of Vidalia; daughters, Cathy Nugent and husband, Eddie, of Ferriday; Karen Martin and husband, Luke, of Ferriday, Sharon Wolfe and husband Jim, of Marietta, GA; sister, Martha A. Rowell of Caston; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
