Allen Wade
Funeral services for Mr. Allen Wade, 76, of Larto were held at Larto Baptist Church on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Lloyd Trisler and Bro. Mack Walker officiating.
Interment followed at Pease Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Wade was born February 20, 1932 in Effie and passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008, in Larto.
He was a resident of Larto, a heavy equipment operator, and a member of Larto Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Ray Wade; and his parents, Iveryle Roy and Donna Reed Wade.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Cora Mae Wade of Larto; daughters, Patsy Book and husband, Melvin, of Jonesville, and Donna Sharp and husband, Carllyn, of Jena; grandchildren, Heath Book, Heather Book Campbell, Jessica Sharp, and Tasha Wade; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Book, Madyson Cambell, and Caleb Sullivan; brother, Loyd Wade and wife, Ann, of Deville; sisters, Marie Box of Deville, Inez Plaissance and husband, John, of Westwego.
Pallbearers were Titus Mire, Chet Edwards, Dwight Edwards, Lawrence Edwards, L.R. Reed, and Ronnie Book.
Honorary pallbearers were Randy Barlow, Alton Nichols, and L.D. Edwards. |
