Huntington defeats Central

Huntington School's boys made it two-for-two in the Huntington Doubleheader as the Hounds defeated Red River 86-75 on November 25.

That was one day after disposing of Central Academy.

The Hounds had three players score in double figures, led by senior Tyler Pere´s career high 39 points.

Jeremy Randall added 17, while Phillip Washington netted 15.

The high-scoring affair started off with both teams scoring 18 points in the first quarter.

Huntington pulled away over the next two quarters, leading 63-49 going into the final period.

Huntington's girls fell to Tensas 50-33 to finish 1-1 in the tournament.

Sara Hoover led Huntington with eight points and Kristen Havard came off the bench to score seven points.
