Lonita Mae Bonner Mendoza Funeral services for Lonita Mae Bonner Mendoza, 81, of Jonesville will be held Thursday, December 11, 2008, 2 p.m. at Good Road Pentecostal Church in Jonesville with Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held today, 5 to 11 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Mendoza was born December 29, 1926 in Swartz, to Thomas B. and Willie J. Bonner. She passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in Jonesville.
She had been a resident of Jonesville for 45 years and a member of the Good Road Pentecostal Church in Jonesville. She was a counselor for those who suffered from alcohol dependencies and she was also a certified nursing assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John Fair; a son, Mickey Fair; her second husband, George Mendoza; and a brother, Robert Bonner.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Cockerham and husband, Fletcher, of Jonesville; a son, Johnny Fair and wife, Helen, of Enterprise; four grandchildren, Laura Willis and husband, John Willis Sr., Bertie Mott and husband, Troy, all of Jonesville, Jeremy Fair of Liberty, MS, and Marty Fair of Monroe; nine great-grandchildren - Mercedes Willis, Marisa Fair, Kelly Mott, Stormy Fair, Tori Fair, David Lucas Jr., Jon Willis Jr., Tristin Fair and Michael Mott.
Pallbearers will be Fletcher Cockerham, David Lucas Jr., Jon Willis Jr., and Jared Brooks. |
