Engagement Terry - Newman
Malcolm and Kay Terry of Harrisonburg announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Brooke Terry, to Mr. Christopher Theodore Newman. He is the son of Julius and Carole Cotton and the late Luther T. "Ted" Newman.
The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of Harrisonburg High School and a 1998 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B. A. degree in early childhood education. She is currently a kindergarten teacher at Ferriday Lower Elementary.
The prospective groom is a 1989 graduate of Adams County Christian School and a 1994 graduate of Mississippi State University with a B. S. degree in general business. He also earned an associate's degree in nursing from Alcorn State University in 2006. He is employed as a registered nurse at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
The wedding ceremony will be held December 20, 2008, at two o'clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church in Natchez.
A reception will follow at the church.
Following a honeymoon in Italy, the couple will reside in Natchez at Evergreen, the Newman family home.
Friends and family are invited to attend. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only. |
