Ferriday splits with Rayville
Ferriday High's Lady Trojans outscored Rayville 17-10 in the fourth quarter to defeat the Lady Hornets 54-50 Tuesday in Ferriday.
The win improved Ferriday's record to 14-1, with its lone loss coming to Class 5A West Monroe.
Ferriday led Rayville 30-19 at halftime, but the Lady Hornets outscored the Lady Trojans 21-7 in the third period to take a 40-37 lead.
Ferriday re-grouped in the final period to take the win.
Northwestern State signee Jasmine Upchurch led Ferriday with 20 points, while Jalessia Davis added 17.
Ashley Qualls led Rayville (4-4) with 13 points while Courtney Sheanette and Terkela Lofton each had 10 points.
