Rosie Lee 'Sister' Kelly
Funeral services for Rosie Lee "Sister" Kelly, 75, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008, 2 p.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Church Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Kelly was born August 15, 1933, in New Roads to Johnnie and Viola Trim Kelly. She passed away December 9, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.
She was a retired food service technician for Concordia Parish Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Horace, Johnnie and James Kelly; and one sister, Mary Kelly.
Survivors include three sons, Jessie E. Bloodsaw and William T. Kelly and wife, Patricia, of Gary, IN, Freddy L. Bloodsaw of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Deloris Osgood of Ferriday, Doris Bloodsaw Anderson and husband, Rodger; stepdaughter, Pearl Harbor, all of Los Angeles; special daughter-in-law, Linda Paige Tolliver of Ferriday; two brothers, Archie Kelly and wife, Mattie, and Leonard Gage and wife, Maggie, all of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Margaret Walker and husband, James, of Indianapolis, IN, Leola Reed of Los Angeles, Viola Redvine of Chicago; 21 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. |
