Funeral services for Kathryn K. Dickens, 71, who died Friday, December 19, 2008, in Natchez were held Monday, December 22, 2008, noon, at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery in Prentiss, MS.

Mrs. Dickens was born November 30, 1937, in Prentiss, the daughter of George Rankin King and Rena Elizabeth Daughdrill King.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia and a faithful employee for the City of Vidalia for 29 years.

Mrs. Dickens is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Tom Dickens.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Johnston and husband, Kelly, of Natchez; three sons, Donnie Dickens and wife Belinda, John Dickens and wife, Patsy, and Larry Dickens and wife April, all of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Dimple Langston and husband Alton, of Brandon, MS; and one special niece Charlotte Wynn, of Brandon.

Pallbearers were Kelly Johnston, Hunter Johnston, Hunter Parker, Chuckie Deweese, Tommy Dickens and Matthew Nations.
