Funeral services for Ollie Mae Lee, 83, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009, 11 a.m. at Rufus Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Dave Mays officiating.
Burial will follow at Pure Light Cemetery in Foules under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born April 9, 1925, in Natchez to Henry and Laura Martin McGee. She passed away December 30, 2008, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freddie Lee Jr.; and a son, Joseph Brown Sr.
Survivors include four sons - Gus McGee, Willie McGee and wife, Debra, Roosevelt Murray, Johnny Washington and wife, Hazel; four daughters - Laura Bowman, Lula Allen and husband, Charlie, all of Ferriday, Theresa Washington and husband, Luther, of New Orleans, Mary Moore and husband, Johnny, of Kansas City, KS; one sister, Jessie Taylor and husband, Al, of Monticello, MS; a special friend, Clara Lee of Ferriday; 39 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. |
