Randy Tarpley
Funeral services for Mr. Randy Tarpley, 53, of Jonesville, will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Jonesville on Friday, January 9, 2009, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Jack Knapp and Bro. Bruce Lofton officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Tarpley was born October 25, 1955, in Jonesville to Clarice and Howard Tarpley and passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 in Terrebone Parish.
He was a resident of Jonesville, welder for Dynamic Industries and he was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Jonesville. Dad was enjoying his life and spending time with his grandsons and family and riding his Harley. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. "Monk" Tarpley.
Survivors include daughters - Stacie Tarpley and son, Jack Mattix Foster, of Jonesville, Mindi Tarpley and son, Ransom Rush Olds, of Jonesville, and Hanna Tarpley of Fort Riley, KS; his mother, Clarice Wiley Tarpley of Jonesville; sister, Debra Book and husband, Emmett, of Jonesville; brother, Dennis "Little Monk" Tarpley and wife, Gwen, of Jonesville, Jeffery Tarpley and wife, Robbie, of Natchitoches; and sister, Jennifer Harp of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be Grant Tarpley, Tyler Tarpley, Josh Olds, Andy Aguilar, Tony Aguilar and Daniel Staneart.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons Jack Mattix Foster, Ransom Rush Olds, and Gabriel Nelson. |
