Vidalia led 14-9 after one period and picked up the tempo thereafter, outscoring the Tigers 19-7 in the second period and 51-30 in the second half.

Ferriday led 24-22 after one period before outscoring the Lady Bears 18-5 in the second quarter and 13-9 in the third period.
"The girls played good defense which is what I have been wanting to see all along," said Ferriday coach Lisa Abron. "The girls are communicating, blocking out, running the fast break and forcing a lot of turnovers."
Jasmine Upchurch led Ferriday with 14 points, while Jalessia Davis added 15, Atasia Banks 14 and Chante Polole 11.
"Anytime everybody is part of the scoring like that, it's a plus for us," Abron said.

Vidalia led 19-12 after one period and 40-36 at halftime.
