 Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine Speights Dees, 80, of Many were held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. at The Word of Truth Family Church in Many with Rev. Frank Ebarb and Dr. Jeff Thompson officiating.
Burial followed in the Siloam Cemetery.
Mrs. Ernestine Speights Dees was born on July 10, 1928, in Clare, LA, and passed away January 8, 2009, in Many.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy D. Wright and husband, Rocky, of Many, Judy Boyd and husband, Leland, of Flower Mound, TX, and Laura Carter of Natchez; son, John E. Dees of Ferriday; brothers -- Earl Speights and wife, Jo, of West Monroe and Ben Speights of Many; sister-in-law, Tina Coxe of Many; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. |
