Jessie Mae Johnson
Funeral services for Jessie Mae Johnson, 66, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009, 2 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born December 14, 1942, in Ferriday to George Hayes and Jessie Lee White. She passed away January 9, 2009, at Riverland Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Johnson, Jr.; her mother, Jessie Lee White; three sons -- Louis R. Johnson, all of Ferriday, Felix Johnson of Arlington, TX, Nathaniel Williams of Biloxi, MS; two daughters -- Angela Hayes and husband, Jerry, Cotrina Johnson; one brother, John Turner, all of Ferriday; one sister, Dorothy Cook of Houston, TX; 27 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. |
