Huntington downs Tallulah

Huntington's boys improved to 3-1 in District 6-A play with an easy 82-41 win over Tallulah in Tallulah Friday.

The Lady Hounds fell to Tallulah, 48-29.

Huntington's boys outscored Tallulah 18-8 in the first period and 22-7 in the second quarter.

Tyler Pere´ led Huntington with 25 points, while Jeremy Randall added 20. Kevin Brown and Josh Lee added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Huntington's girls fell to 1-3 in district play as the Lady Hounds trailed the Lady Trojans 14-8 after one period and 26-18 at halftime.

Sara Hoover led Huntington with eight points.

Huntington had an open date Tuesday night.

The Hounds return to play Friday as they travel to Franklin Academy. Huntington hosts WCCA Tuesday.
