Efaunte Bernard Morales, 23, 903 Delaware St., Ferriday, was arrested Monday night around 10:30 p.m. after a traffic stop found seven grams of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash on his person.

"Officer John Mott and Officer Sam King came upon a car in the middle of the road on Eighth Street near Maryland," said Assistant Police Chief Johnny Evans. "After they initiated the traffic stop they found the cocaine and money. Morales was arrested and another subject ran. We have a warrant out for his arrest."

Efaunte Morales was charged with stopped or parked on roadway and possession of schedule II with intent to distribute.
