Ferriday falls at Jonesboro-Hodge Ferriday High dropped a pair of games at Jonesboro-Hodge Tuesday as the Lady Trojans lost a heartbreaker to the Lady Tigers, while the Ferriday boys dropped their first district game of the season.
Ferriday girls were without starter T'Keyah Fletcher who had an abcessed tooth and reserve guard Raven Lewis, who has pneumonia.
Northwestern State signee Jasmine Upchurch returned to the lineup after being out with an illness.

Ferriday jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one period and led 30-16 at halftime.
The Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Trojans 19-13 in the third quarter and 22-12 in the fourth period.
"Things just fell apart in the second half," Abron said. "We started turning the ball over and not boxing out and getting rebounds. We scrapped until the end, but I think we were just so fatigued from lack of depth."
Atasia Banks led Ferriday with 19 points, while Chante Poole added 17 and Jalessia Davis 11.
"My expectations were so high for this year and we were on a mission," Abron said. "But we have Jonesboro back here and maybe we can get some help. Hopefully we can get things together and turn it back around."
