Joseph Percell Fletcher
Funeral services for Joseph Percell Fletcher, 62, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009, 11 a.m. at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 7:30 at the funeral home.
Mr. Fletcher was born May 19, 1946, in Frogmore to Benjamin Schile and Frozinia Fletcher. He passed away January 24, 2009, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a veteran of the U. S. Airforce.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Landon Wallace.
Survivors include three sons -- Reginald Murphy, Patrick Murphy and wife, Melissa, all of Ferriday, Alvin Wallace and wife, Shelia, of Flint, MI; five daughters -- Mea Taylor of Milwaukee, WI, Monica Potters and husband, Ricky, Zacki Cummings and husband, C.C., all of Ferriday, Edeltress Wallace of Muskegon, MI, Senika Perry; five brothers -- Wadell Fletcher and wife, Rosa, Barry Fletcher and wife, Kathy, all of Flint, Donald Fletcher and wife, Vicky, of Baton Rouge, Yancy Fletcher, Charles Fletcher and wife, Sharon, all of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters -- Barbara Townley of Lake Forest, CA, Pamela Atkins and wife, Terrance, of Ferriday; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five aunts and two uncles. |
