Monterey splits, falls to Kilbourne

Monterey's girls defeated Forest 51-25 in Forest Friday.

Kendall Lipsey led the Lady Wolves with a career high 23 points, while also blocking two shots and grabbing three steals. She was 10-of-17 from the field on the night. Ellen Bairnsfather added eight.

The Monterey boys dropped a heartbreaker against Forest, falling 57-51.

On Tuesday night, the Wolves and Lady Wolves were on the short end of the scoreboard against Kilbourne.

Monterey's girls fell to the Lady Hawks, 46-24.

Kilbourne led 11-6 after one period and 26-9 at halftime.

Lipsey led the Lady Wolves with 14 points.

Monterey's boys were outscored 33-18 in the second half in a 55-38 setback.

Ross Lipsey led the Wolves with 13, while Austin Lipsey added 10.

Monterey visits Epps Friday in their district finale.

for their last district game on Friday night.
