Indictment against Miles D. Jenkins Sr., Waterproof Police Chief STATE OF LOUISIANA
SIXTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT PARISH OF TENSAS
THE GRAND JURORS of the State of Louisiana, good and lawful men of the Parish of Tensas duly empaneled, sworn and charged to enquire for the body of said Parish, acting in the name and by the authority of the State of Louisiana, on their oath do present:
THAT MILES D. JENKINS., SR.
late of the Parish aforesaid, in the Sixth Judicial District of the State of Louisiana, in the Parish, District and State aforesaid,
COUNT ONE:
From December, 2007 through May, 2008, did commit Malfeasance in Office by reducing citations when the Chief of Police has no judicial powers under the law, all in violation of R.S. 33:441.
COUNT TWO:
From December, 2007 through May, 2008, did commit Malfeasance in Office by receiving bonuses when the salary for the Waterproof Police Chief is fixed by Board of Alderman, all in violation of R.S. 33:404.1.
COUNT THREE:
From December, 2007 through May, 2008, did commit Malfeasance in Office by receiving bonuses when the salary for the Waterproof Police Chief is fixed by Board of Alderman, all in violation of R.S. 33:404.1. contrary to the form of the Statue of the State of Louisiana in such case made and provided, in contempt of the authority of the State of Louisiana, and against the peace and dignity of the same.
