John Thomas Hayes
John Thomas Hayes, 63, died Saturday, February 21, 2009.
Mr. Hayes was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was ordained to the gospel ministry and pastored in CT and MS and was retired from Stewart Brothers Hardware in Bartlett, TN. He loved to preach Jesus especially at the Shelby County Division of Corrections and he loved his LSU Tigers.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Linda Harris Hayes; three daughters, Angela Hayes Ross of Marion, AR, Kristy Lynn and Brandi Ruth Hayes of Cordova, TN; two granddaughters, Amanda Rochelle and Courtney Dyan; and one brother, Jerry Lynn Hayes of Cotton Valley, LA.
A visitation was held Monday, February 23 and funeral services were held Tuesday, February 24, at 10 a.m. both at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel.
The family requests that memorials be sent to Love Worth Finding Ministries at P.O. Box 38300, Memphis, TN 38183-0300. Arrangements were held under the direction of Memphis Funeral Home. |
