Schneider arrested on firearms charge
Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office/Narcotics Task Force officers arrested Clinton Bart Schneider Jr., 44, of Lismore last week on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
A Smith & Wesson .356 caliber revolver was reportedly found beneath the seat of the red, extended-cab truck Schneider was driving in the Monterey area when stopped by deputies Wednesday (2/18/09) to place him under arrest on a warrant from the District Attorney's Office.
The appeal bond for Schneider, who was found guilty of dog fighting in February 2007, had been revoked and he was to be picked up to begin serving a five-year-sentence with the Louisiana Department of Corrections.
Deputies involved in Schneider's most recent arrest included Sgts. Denis Mulvihill and Billy Joe Ratcliff. |
