Story Archives: Lady Vikings fall to LaSalle

Lady Vikings fall to LaSalle
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Vidalia High's Lady Vikings fell to LaSalle 7-1 in their home opener Monday at Vidalia.

"We just need some playing time and we have to find some depth for our pitching," said first-year Lady Viking coach Graham Roberts. "We have to give people different looks. The good thing Monday is that we didn't have any errors."

Katlyn Wilson doubled for the Lady Vikings, while Eryn Secrest and Kassi Randall both singled. Erika Brown grounded out to score Wilson with Vidalia's only run.

Vidalia plays at Monterey Thursday.
