Funeral services for Mr. Alton L. Hall, 73, of Mayflower, AR were held Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ferriday with Father Louis Sklar officiating.

Interment followed at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Hall was born November 28, 1935, in Wisner and passed away Saturday, March 14, 2009 at his residence in Mayflower.

He was a long-time resident of Ferriday, and a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Hall; mother, Onnie Mae Smith Hall; in-laws, Fred and Dovie Beach; three brothers-in-law -- Fred, Jr., Paul and James "Buck" Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Sissy" Beach Hall of Mayflower; sons -- Eddie Hall and his wife, Hilda, of Houston, TX, Pat Hall of Little Rock, AR; daughters -- Carolyn Kenney and husband, Thomas Kenney, Jr., of Mayflower, Cathy Wickam and husband, Richard, of Lake Ozark, MO, Jeannean Rollins and husband, Jon, of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren -- Karen Graham and husband, Mike, Marshall Kenny, Kristen Maples and husband, Allen, Amy Hall, Christy Zeagler, Erica Patten, Randee' Patten-Kaufman and husband, Joe, Catie Hall, Sarah Hall, Hannah Rollins, Jonathan Rollins, Wesley Rollins, and Taylor Gray. Also six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tony Guirlando, Rocco Guirlando, Mike Martin, Mike Graham, Allen Maples, Darren Carter, and Jon Alley.

Honorary pallbearers were Frank Smith, Nathan Calhoun, Lynwood Easterling, Walter Maier, and Reginald Poole, and William Duncan.
