Monterey falls to Block
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Monterey fell to Block 17-3 Tuesday in Jonesville.

The Wolves struck first as Ross Lipsey delivered a two-run home run in the top of the first inning.

But Block answered with seven runs in its first-at bat before cruising to the win.

Monterey's only other run came on a home run by Taylor Campbell in the top of the third inning.

Monterey will compete in the Jena Tournament Friday and Saturday.
