Huntington defeated Trinity Episcopal in tennis play Thursday before returning to Trinity Saturday to post win overs University Christian and Newton Academy.

Huntington defeated Trinity, 6-1.

Julie Moak defeated Savannah Vance, 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 girls singles.

Emilee Johns posted a 6-1, 6-0 win over Emory Smith in No. 2 girls singles.

Adalyn Boyd won 6-3 over Lauren O'Quinn in No. 3 singles.

In No. 1 girls doubles, Julia Corbett and Sara Hoover defeated Emory Smith and Mary Catherine Iles, 6-3, 7-5.

In No. 2 girls doubles, Abbey Ashmore and Allie Boothe blanked Brittany McCalip and Mary Lee Williams, 6-0, 6-0.

In No. 1 boys doubles, Cody Dye and Anthony Olds defeated Tyler Jordan and Turner Westley, 6-2, 4-6, 10-5.

Coby Gray fell to Rudy Timm of Trinity, 6-3, 5-7, 10-3 in No. 1 boys singles.

Huntington's No. 1 boys doubles team of Cody Dye and Anthony Olds defeated Kendall Roebuck and Colby Harvey, 6-1, 6-0.

In No. 2 girls doubles, Abbey Ashmore and Allie Boothe defeated Savanna Smith and Hanna Payne, 6-1, 6-0.

Emilee Johns defeated RayAnne Craven 6-2, 6-3 in No. 2 girls singles.

Huntington defeated Newton 3-2 in Natchez.

Hanna Peoples of Newton outlasted Julie Moak, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6.

Mike Hamrick of Newton defeated Colby Gray, 6-4, 2-6 (10-8) in No. 1 boys singles.

Huntington defeated University Christian 4-2.

Julie Moak defeated Katie Eames in No. 1girls singles, 6-2, 6-2.

Emilee Johns blanked Mary Fran-Sanderford 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 girls singles.

Sara Hoover and Julia Corbett defeated Lindsey England and Grace mayor 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 girls doubles.

Abbey Ashmore and Allie Boothe of Huntington defeated Linsey England and Grace Mayor 6-4 in No. 2 girls doubles.

Kevin Millet of University Christian defeated Colby Gray 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 boys singles.

Scott Millet and Christian McElven defeated Cody Dey and Anthony Olds 6-2, 6-2 in No. 1 boys doubles.

Huntington was scheduled to play at WCCA Tuesday but that match was postponed. The Hounds play at Tensas Academy Tuesday.
