Shirley Ann Rogers McCall
Funeral services for Shirley Ann Rogers McCall, 67, of Acme were held at Acme Baptist Church today, Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 2 p.m. with Bro. James Gass and Rev. Cindy Robinson officiating. Interment followed at Acme Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. McCall was born May 23, 1941, in Ferriday and passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 in Ferriday. She was a resident of Acme, a homemaker and nursing assistant, and she was a member of the Acme Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ruben Rogers; mother, Bobbie Colleen Rogers; and a son, Lee McCall.
Survivors include her husband, Leon McCall of Acme; daughters -- Bobbie and husband, Milton Sanders of Acme, Karen and husband, James Gass of Sicily Island; brothers -- Jake and wife, Juanita Rogers of Monterey, and Bobby Rogers of Monterey; grandchildren --Michael and Will Sanders, Alicia Wiggins, Gwenn Pitts, Jenny Ogle, Stephen and Jonathan Gass; great grandchildren -- Madalynn and Raelynn Sanders, and Ava Wiggins.
Pallbearers were Michael Sanders, Will Sanders, Sherman Wiggins, Joe Rogers, Jonathan Gass, James Ogle, and Don Pitts.
Honorary pallbearers was Stephen Gass.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Mrs. McCall to St. Judes Research Hospital. |
