Lillie Spillers Funeral services for Lillie Spillers, 81, of Vidalia will be held at First Baptist Church Of Vidalia on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Dan Glenn officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Vidalia.
Mrs. Spillers was born October 9, 1927, in Sicily Island and passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at Camelot Lesuire Living Ferriday. She was a resident of Vidalia, a self-employed real estate agent, and a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of WMU. She was also a member of the Vidalia Garden Club, Order of the Eastern Star, the Concordia Parish Realtor Association and on the Budget Finance Committee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Spillers; son, John L. Spillers; father, James Spears; and mother, Nanny Smith Spears.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianne, and husband, Freddie Landers of Lake St. John; and a son, Buddy and wife, Phyliss Spillers of Lake St. John. She was also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandchildren
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home in Vidalia from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. |
