Engagement Cater - Babb
 Michael and Lisa Cater of Vidalia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Emily Anne Cater, to Jeremy Lee Babb of Monroe. He is the son of James Babb of Mt. Pleasant, TX, and Margaret Torres of West Monroe.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gorden and Nell Arnold of Vidalia, the late James Cater and the late Aida Metcalfe of Vidalia.
She is a graduate of Vidalia High School and will graduate in May from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Barbara Babb of Oak Grove and Jimmy and Brenda Reese of Burleson, TX.
He is a graduate of Christian Liberty Academy of Monroe and will graduate in December from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The wedding will take place Saturday, May 30, 2009, 6:30 in the evening at Twin Oaks in Natchez. Whit Bass of Monroe will officiate the ceremony.
A reception will follow at the plantation home.
