Board recognizes VHS basketball team The Concordia Parish School Board recognized the achievements of the Vidalia High School boys' basketball team and took care of routine matters during a brief regular meeting Thursday.
Coaches Robert Sanders and Damus Smith and players were honored for the Vikings runner-up finisher in Class 3-A this past season.
The board approved the payment of invoices for March totaling $3.8 million and went into executive session to discuss a "student problem."
Additionally, the board changed the date for its May meeting to the 21st.
