Lewis to participate in Fortunato Classic
The Joe Fortunato Celebrity Golf Classic will be held Saturday, May 2 at Duncan Park Golf Course.
Entry fee is $100 per player.
Former Mississippi State and Dallas Cowboy standout D.D. Lewis will be one of the celebrities on hand for the tournament.
The four-man scramble will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start with lunch at 1 p.m. for players and spouses.
Each golfer will receive a bag. There will be prizes for each flight, hole-in-one prizes sponsored by Great River Chevrolet-Cadillac-GMC.
Prizes for the longest drive and closest to the hole prizes. There will be an awards party following play.
All proceeds stay in the area as part of scholarships given to a representative from the seven area high schools.
