The Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office assisted the Catahoula Parish Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service Crime Task Force Tuesday in arresting three suspects allegedly involved in a Thursday (4/30/09) shooting in Sicily Island in which one woman was wounded.

Arrested on the Catahoula Parish warrants for attempted second-degree murder were Kenbaron Ladon Scott, 18, Baton Rouge; and Jacques Javon Robinson, 23, Sicily Island.

Vondell Aaron Hawkins, 21, Ferriday, was charged with felony possession of stolen things when he was found to have the gun reportedly used in the shooting. All three were booked at the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office. Scott was additionally arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court for arraignment on a prior charge of unauthorized use of a moveable.

According to Jesse Edwards with the Catahoula Sheriff's Office, Lamoris Jordan, 25, Sicily Island, was arrested by Catahoula authorities and charged with attempted second degree murder, and Doretha Jordan, 29, also of Sicily Island, was charged with accessory to attempted second degree murder. A 16-year-old Ferriday youth was also charged in connection with the shooting, Edwards said.

Working on the case in Concordia were Lt. Greg Jackson and Sgts. Billy Joe Ratcliff and Denis Mulvihill. Working with Edwards in Catahoula are Ricky White and Raymond Rouse.
