Funeral services for Nathan England, 56, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, 11 a.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. England was born November 30, 1952, in Ferriday to Willie and Gladys Eubanks England. He died May 8, 2009, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

He was an auto mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters — Cindy England and Doris Graham.

Survivors include his mother; three daughters — Netrina England and Jasmine Schiele, all of Ferriday, Naja Williams of Norcross, GA; one son — Michael Givens of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Leondias England of Monroe; one sister, Francine Vaughn (Wendall) of Flint, MI; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
