Mildred Branson
Funeral services for Mildred Branson, 70, of Sicily Island will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, 11 a.m. at Martin Junior High School in Sicily Island with Rev. Dr. L. B. Oliver officiating.
Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Richard & Sims Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Sicily Island.
Mrs. Branson died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at her residence in Sicily Island.
Survivors include her husband, Landon Branson III; sons — Russell Branson of Sicily Island and Landon Branson IV of Monroe; daughters — Neomi Branson, Shelia Counsel and Linda Kerry, all of Sicily Island; brothers — Jackie Roy Ambers of Baton Rouge, Albert Ambers of Sicily Island and Andrew Ambers Jr. of Detroit, MI; sisters — Edna Bingham, Bertha Boykins, Velma Sue Bailey and Barbara Jean Davis, all of Detroit, Katie Mae Dorsey of Sicily Island, Carrie Reynolds of New Orleans and Marie Mullins of Redford, MI. |
