Monterey girls named all-district
Three members of the Monterey High Lady Wolves softball team were named to the All-District 3B team.
Freshman Ellen Bairnsfather, who pitched and played shortstop while hitting .348.
Sophomore catcher Taylor Morace and junior outfielder Casey White were also named to the first team.
Morace hit close to .300 and was solid behind the plate.
White hit .300 with a .405 slugging percentage.
Lady Wolves named to the second team were junior pitcher Holli Clay, junior infielder Brooke Baker and junior Ariel Hector. |
