Ben Gilbert Duncan, Jr.
Funeral services for Ben Gilbert Duncan, Jr., 78, of Bastrop were held Monday, May 25, 2009, 10 a.m. in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home.
Interment followed at Duncan Cemetery in Mangham under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Duncan passed away on May 22, 2009. Ben was born on February 4, 1931 in Richland Parish.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Duncan of Bastrop; one son, Tim Duncan of West Monroe; one daughter, Libby Rankin of Somerville, TN; one son, Terry Gunter of Birmingham, AL; one step-daughter, Brenda Turner of Bastrop; one step-daughter, Tina Strobel of Gulf Breeze, FL, one step-daughter, Mathilde Halcomb of Baton Rouge; one step-daughter, Lisa Brooks Halcomb of Wisner; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ben was employed at the Natchez branch of International Paper Mill from 1951 until 1995. |
