Funeral services for Joyce Lee Wiley, 69, of Bogalusa were held Friday, May 29, 2009, 11 a.m. at Brown McGehee Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Gutierrez officiating.

Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa under the direction of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home of Bogalusa.

Mrs. Wiley passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at her residence.

She was a member of the Methodist faith. She worked for the Washington Parish Coroners Office for 15 years. She was a mother and a dear friends to those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Myrtis Sheridan Lewis; and a son, Dusty Wiley.

Survivors include three daughters -- Marci Cowan and husband, Billy, of Bogalusa, Karen Barr and husband, Steve, of Dallas, TX, Sarah Chisholm and husband, Chris, of Houston, TX; two brothers -- Johnny Lewis of Pearl River and Davis Lewis of Slidell; four grandchildren -- Megan Stafford and husband, Josh, Morgan Cowan, Dawson Barr, Ella Grace Barr; two great-grandchildren -- Jadyn and Hadyn Stafford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
