Vipers win tournament
The Vidalia Vipers 17-under team went 3-0 at the Cathedral Summer Baseball Tournament, defeating Wilkinson County Christian Academy 6-0 Friday, Centreville Academy 8-5 on Saturday and Cathedral 7-3 Saturday night.
Trey Lillie picked up the win against WCCA, while Seth Thompson was the winning pitcher against Centreville before he left the game after being hit on the leg by a line drive.
Mason Ozburn picked up the win against Cathedral.
Vidalia will play in the USSSA 17-under state tournament in West Monroe this weekend. |
