Jarrett Hoffpauir continued his hot streak since struggling early in the season for the Memphis Redbirds, the triple-A minor league team for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Hoffpauir leads Memphis in home runs, RBI and slugging percentage. Hoffpauir failed to get a hit Tuesday night, which ended his eight-game hit streak. He has 21 hits in the last 15 games and has five homers in the last seven games.

Barry Bowden continues to perform well for the Burlington Bees, the Class A team for the Kansas City Royals.

Bowden has pitched in 21 games, posting an impressive 2.36 earned run average. He has 32 strikeouts and has allowed 10 walks.

Bowden leads the Bees with six saves.

Both former Vidalia High standouts had outstanding careers at Southen Mississippi.
